Safe Water Network

We have had the privilege of working with the Paul Newman founded not-for-profit for almost five years. With over 25% of the world’s population without access to this basic necessity of life, a lot’s on the line with this work.

Pearl Adukpo (4) drinking water from a Safe Water Network remote kiosk near her home in Dzemeni in the Volta Region of Ghana on 23 October 2012. Before the advent of the water centre and kiosks residents had to rely on untreated lake water or run-off from their roofs.

Our work has helped Safe Water Network support communities in India and Ghana own and operate Safe Water Stations successfully, long-term. Part of this effort includes a number of videos to help them raise awareness and financial support. Here are a few examples.

This video celebrates water. The music was generously created by Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club.

This is part of a series we put together for the Paul Newman founded not-for-profit Safe Water Network. The series features short interviews with their teams based in Africa and India.
